OH yeah, the old gravy down the shotgun tubes trick.

 

That reminds me of the time in Basic Training when a trainee tried the old "use hot water to clean your M-16" trick, but I don't think that he got the metal hot enough.  The next day, the whole rifle was rusted. :(
