I play coc a bit and I would like to join the clan but do I need to be a member of FA in the et server? I am a bit confused on how it works.

NO,u dnt hve to be an admin to join.

I might join, I have my own clan going right now but it is inactive and dead so might look for a new one. What are the requirements to join?
