It has less features though, but its more simpler to use. It has some quirks though like the ability to alter your voice so you can sound crazy (or like a robot). It also says it has a "occlusion engine that further enhances the realism of voice communication" and says that it responds to game geometry so if the player is behind a wall, he will sound like he is behind a wall. I think its bullshit though. I mean i tried it and it didn't do anything lawl. I do like the voice adapter abilities though. Give it a try and see how you like it.
