Carbonautics Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Hey, its been a few months since i got my New pc, posted it nw, its not a "Built for Gamin" type of pc but serves the purpose; CPU: i3 4150 @3.5Ghz Haswell Graphics: Intel HD 4400 and Zotac Nvidia Geforce GT 610 2gb edition DDR3[a bit old for a gaming pc] Memory: Adata 8Gb ddr3 @800Mhz Motherboard: Gigabyte H81M-S OS: Windows 10 Pro 64bit Storage: TOSHIBA DT01ACA100 1TB Hdd [no sdd though] Monitor: Dell S2216H 22" monitor @60hz Keyboard and Mouse: Iball Dusky Duo 6 [ wireless, which is a down point for a gaming pc] Frontech Cabinet[dunno whch] well,thats it basically, if you guys can , please tell me, if I could use the 4400 gfx with 610 I would like to use it as dual graphics card or how I could switch between the 2 gfx, to use the other gfx card? 2 Quote
redy. Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 The intel HD 4400 sounds like the graphics card that is on the mainboard. I doubt that you can use both at the time. There is a technology SLI (nvidia) amd crossfire (ATI) to use two graphic cards. But in order to do that you need the same card and they need to be able to support the feature. Windows detects where your monitor is hooked up to. Ensure to plug it into the Gforce GT 610 to be 100% sure, can you post a picture of the back of your PC? Quote
