Discretely using admin commands

I was told by Kelfy that there is a way to use the !spec command covertly without it showing up in main chat, can somebody tell me how to do that?

 

Also, is there a way to do this on commands like !finger?

You can do the !commands in fireteam-chat on jaymod.  

 

BUT, you must do public commands for those that affect the players, such as !put, !mute, !kick, !ban, etc., so that they know who to complain about.    That also lets your kameraden-admins know when you have boarded the crazy-train!

 

!spec and !finger are especially good to hide.

 

Silent and NQ/NoQuarter !commands can only be done in public for most admins.  /follow in console works on those mods, so we can all be  when we want to be.

It works in jaymod as well but you need the exact name or playerslot. To get the playerslot silently you can use /players as well Edited August 9, 2016 by Platonic

This is good information, never thought about the fireteam chat. That's clever. Im not trying to do people dirty or anything, I just want to know so I can use it to look at IPs for trouble players I think are usong different aliases and so that I can spec people I think might be cheating
