Been spending some time on DAYZ Standalone.  Amazing but it is a big, lonely, dangerous world... especially when you are by yourself.

Let me know if you play and what server you are on.

I tried playing but as you said, it's too lonely for me and felt depressed most of the time

Dunno, don't want that of a game.

But it is amazing, if you're into that sort of a thing.

I think this would be even more amazing with a group of friends to play with. Need numbers to scare off the bandits and watch your back while you loot the good stuff.

I reckon it would be more fun with some friends, yes, but.. ehhh I stopped after a short while, it's just not my cup of tea y'know.

Like you said, too dark, too big and too lonely. Sometimes too scary.

It is crazy that you can feel that level of adrenaline fuelled emotion from a video game.

i played dayz a bit, but its a game that rips off your money imo. I was playing it 2 years after it got to early access and there was nearly no progress, it was full of bugs, and almost no improvement in content

So after years of development the arma 2 mod was still way better than the standalone.

I haven't played it lately so it might be better now but i doubt it since i've heard that the biggest part of the dev team left or smt.

That's true and that's why it's an amazing game.

But, still :D
