ClareHaych- LoNeWoLf Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 So, what did everyone think? I personally think the Dornish storyline was slightly rushed. Otherwise, it was quite good and as much as I like Jon Snow I really hope 'The Red Woman' won't bring him back with magic (too predictable) and oh ffs Daenerys you're back to being a Dothraki b*** again Quote

I just hope it doesn't drag on for half the season like they did with Stannis chilling out at Castle Black in S5. Dorne has been a rubbish storyline. It held so much promise when the Red Viper rocked up in Kings Landing but it's all gone downhill fast and it's definitely the least interesting part of the show imo. Looking forward to seeing what Cersei and Jaime get up to with FrankenMountain as the muscle, I think the High Sparrow might want to keep his head down... 1 Quote
ClareHaych- LoNeWoLf Posted April 26, 2016 Author Posted April 26, 2016 Sympathy for the Lannisters! The trailer seemed promising with the whole "I choose violence" I hope they finally get rid of the sparrows and yeah Oberyn and Doran were my favorites Quote
Snatixx Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 I found this pretty weird overrall tbh. I disliked the Sansa part where is crossing a freezing river and stuff, and being miracully saved. Really curious about the Arya storyline, wondering what will happen to her very soon! I kinda expected something like that about the Red Woman 1 Quote

Be interesting to see what happens when the wet lettuce Tommen finally gets his as well 1 Quote

I feel like they're trying to get more into the fantasy zone of GoT (confirmed Sansa will be Lady Stoneheart) as well as white walkers, resurrection and warging etc Quote
DFighter Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 after 8 months waiting I was pretty dissapointed about the first episode 1 Quote
10Tacle Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 I enjoyed it all, after like 42.5 weeks of waiting and waiting, not watching trailers and not reading news or sneak-peaks from the actors intentionally. maybe we can add those in the discussions, just for everyone's safety sanity 2 Quote

Nah it was just your standard season opener picking up all the storylines and setting them up for the next 9 episodes. I think we visited pretty much everyone apart from Bran so could never get that much done in 50 minutes. Now we have caught up with and overtaken the books I think the pace might pick up a bit - early season 5 felt like a lot of filler before the end was all killer. Now the writers are unshackled from the books I expect a lot to happen in every episode now - and will piss and moan like hell when it doesn't 1 Quote
Vanaraud Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Either Red Woman will burn\reanimate Jon or he will be white walker, remembered that Jon fought 1 inside the fort a while ago... Those 2 brothers who went under the tree\cave will be in this season? It was promised bloodiest season but Sansas brother had no parts cut, YET:P Sansa escaping? She had supporters out there, was hinted very clearly last season... Arya will be beat to death\madness or shaped to Daredevil? 1 Quote
Jobba Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 I thought EP 1 was a great setup for the season. A lot of tide changes in Season 6 and we will probably see a whole lot of new stuff since: Arya loses her sight Sansa escapes with Reek AND Brienne finds her Red Woman reveals herself Jon Snow is "dead" Knights tower storyline with Jaime going to war And let's not forget brans storyline with red raven. There's a bunch of new things to look forward too. I think they might show flashbacks of Robert's rebellion. This Season is gonna be bomb, only this one and 1 more until we reach the finale I heard. 1 Quote
SmTh Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Maybe it was not epic, but story lines need to be created. I have a good feeling it will be great season again. I agree with others above that i also hope the speed of story lines will be high! No stalling and finish story lines which are not great anymore almost episode 2 is here! 1 Quote

Yeah Bran's story will be really exciting this season as we get to see more into warging and if Jon comes back to land of the living I'll be a happy girl! Also Arya I think will have trouble becoming "no one" so I'm eager to see where that goes. I thought EP 1 was a great setup for the season. Oh yes there has been a few hints at seeing the flashbacks. I'm curious as to why they would show that now? Something to do with Jon Snow? Maybe it was not epic, but story lines need to be created. There's so many things we get to look into this season I'm just too excited! 1 Quote
