no place for quake3?

i decided to post this here, as ET uses same game engine + game physics as quake3.

im just curious as to who used to play it and/or who still would?

if there's enough interest i might pester dd for a quake3 server, or just pay for one or pay dd for one. either way...

i used to play this game so much! and do still love it & own it and team arena, both on cd with origonal cd key (nerd).

anyone else have interest?

I do. I always loved quake :D I always used to play Quake Live (Similar to Quake 3) And I have always loved the series :D

Would be nice to see more arena shooters. I'm hoping the new DOOM is good. I also hope that they have server hosting. Some new games are badly needed and a newer gen game could generate a ton of interest.

I did post in quake live topic , and damn yes i'd love to enjoy this game again with nice players  (not those bia**hes on steam servers :/ )
