Antimony
Not surprising. The advancement in technology will never stop. By the time u become old, Hdds will be avaiable in yotta and zeta bytes. kilobyte (kB) megabyte (MB) gigabyte (GB) terabyte (Tb) petabyte (PB) exabyte (EB) zettabyte (ZB) yottabyte (YB)
Guest R..pace!
Who needs 3Tb of disk space!? Even 500Gb is good enough... Unless games of the future become so hardcore that they require 1000Gb per game or something
PHANTASM
Who needs 3Tb of disk space!? Even 500Gb is good enough... Unless games of the future become so hardcore that they require 1000Gb per game or something I have over 800GB of movies, music, and programs just on this computer. Your kids will wonder how you ever survived on sub-terabyte hard drives.I can't wait for the flash drives to get up to 1TB that will be awesome to be able to carry all my shiite in my pocket lol. Instead of carrying a hard drive like a dork.

Honestly you can never have enough hard drive space people use it to rip there OWN DVD/bluray movies so they do not have to keep juggling disks to watch a movie or home videos etc ..... also i would love to have a external 3 TB drive so i can use for the PVR feature on my satellite reciever cause HD movies and shows take up a lot of space...so yeap i believe its freaking amazing and needed
gigabyte
Really? 1TB is NOT enough. I have 2 other HD's filled with movies. Bluerays can go up to 8Gigs. Plus, you think software/games are going to decrease in size? no, they are going to get huge starting this year.
Higgeo
I have the 1 TB and its not even half full. I would probs get 2 1TB drives and run RAID

Saizou
Well, people stated in the past that no computer would ever need more than 64KB of memory (RAM) and look where it has gone today. Same for storage space when floppy disks were like today DVDs, and HDDs were about a few MBs big (500-1000 times smaller when compared to today's HDDs). The more space you have, the easier it is for you to fill it.
