CFG request

As I wrote in the introduction post I have wondows 10 and run ET legacy (is that really needed?) at a PC (which was a great PC 8 years ago) with

 

1. CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955 Processor 3.2 GHz

2. RAM: 4.00 GB (3.12 GB available)

3. graphic card: AMD Radeon HD 5800 series total graphic memory 2432

4. monitor: SyncMaster 206bw (it was at that time a great screen). i am not sure bit I think resolution is 1680x1050 and 60Hz

5. internet connecton: great (glasvezel) very fast shizzle vizzle.. kidna cable

6.game graphics: high

7. resolution dunno normaly desktop

8. mouse sens: dunno yet.. cant remember old .. lets say 5

9. crosshair: 5

10. FOC:  have been told you can alter it with far away and nearby and normal.. but if have to choose 1 i say 110

11. crouch: "mouse 2", selfkill "z"

 

extra problems I have is that since I tried another CFg my view is to dark and I cannot chainge easily: 1. Windows sens(put it to 6/11) + disabling windows in-build acceleration
2. Polling rate
3. Find a reasonable DPI

All is as you requested, moved +attack2(weapon alternate) to capslock since you wanted crouch on mouse2

 

Some custom stuff I added:
h - auto artilery

Downarrow join spectators

Leftarrow join axis

Right arrow join allies

k - class selector

Once you exec config, next time you can do so by pressing F6

F7 is vid_restart(should be done each time after config exec)

F10 'windowed mode' (1280x1024)

Mouse3 selfkill

F8 toggless all hud on and off

Kp_plus and kp_minus are for volume control.

 

Since you didn't specify crosshair color, I made it red.

1. What I just did was after reading at the forum ET 2.6b is possible with windows 10 to delete all ET and get ET 2.6b running.. so thats a start

2. this new restart solved my view options which i got after the previously tried cfg (see intro).. great

2. Second I tried your cfg.. it at least was able to autoexec .... so great.. I will see what changes I will make in it.. maybe I want to try that 3 cfg for near by, far away and normal..

 

about changes I made:

- I was out of my mind.. I ment crouch for mouse ?(its not 2 or 3) alternate weapon will be back to mouse2, waht was normaly on CAPs?

- Player name

- drawgun yes

- i want t hear a little bit all the noice of the funny music (how do i put this on?)

cg_drawgun "1" for weapon visibility

name "" for setting your name

I switched alternate weapon to capslock since you wrote crouch on mouse2, so I had to put it somewhere

s_musicvolume "0.8" (0.8 is default for music volume)

In that config r_displayrefresh is set 100 (you said your monitor was 60Hz so this should be set at 60)

I would set r_mode -1, r_customwidth 1680 and r_customheight 1050 then you know its using your full screen resolution. Adding vid_restart at the end of your config will make sure all the settings are changed as you /exec auto..

 

Add +set com_ignorecrash 1 to your target in game shortcut, not sure this was fixed in legacy.
