Hysteria Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Since Meow made a fun topic about the last concert you visited I had to think also about my first festival. Sorry for copying the title and not being origineel with this topic. So my very first festival was Mysteryland 2015, I'm not that person that goes to every festival/concert or going out to dance and drink till I need to creep to get home. So also this time just like with new years eve, my girlfriend had to do a lot of effort to buy tickets for this festival. Before we went there we drink some alcohol for the good vibe. After some hours drinking and walking and dancing it became dark and at that moment it was awesome to be there. At this time i'm uploading a video from the end show at the 2nd biggest stage: Q-dance. I must admit that when I see this video now, I get the urge to buy the tickets for Mysterland 2016! The girl who is screaming time to time, is my girlfriend. 2 Quote

Chameleon Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 Last festival I went to was 1994 just outside Chicago, it was called Cornerstone.. Over 150 bands in a 5 day stretch Quote
NormanCorn Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 I just paid $330 to see The Strokes in June. Governors Ball 3 Day Music Festival in NYC and I don't give a shit about anybody else playing. Here's hoping I can get rid of the other two days on StubHub at a profit. Quote
berlinerbol Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 I need to get out more..... Pluk de nacht, Cinema Festival Amsterdam Quote
Kevlar Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 We usually hit several festivals during the summer- mostly close to home or regional. My favorite is Floyd Fest which is about a 1/2 hour from where I live. It's got a little hippy flavor to it but the band line up is usually good. I volunteer as a medic in the first aid tent to get free admission. Even if I didn't get in as volunteer - I would probably still pay the $215 for the 5 day pass. 1 Quote
