Need help with Ventrilo

Hello everyone, I hope some of you will be able to help me because I have a problem.

I downloaded Vent today, it's working fine (mostly thanks to Tasha who helped me alot already) but, when i start ET, and still want to talk with other players who i still hear, they don't hear me anymore, only while i'm in game ( and yes im pushing the key to talk ) ...

How can I fix it?

It does the same with the xfire voice chat, and teamspeak. So the problem is not from vent. Maybe from my mic? or the game?

I'll be very grateful if anyone find a solution!

well if you look through the settings on ET, maybe it is blocking/muting it. Idk, i dont play ET, it was just suggestion to check.

I have vista aswell.

 

You HAVE to right click and run as administrator.

if you dont. like you have experienced.

you will not be able to talk.

hmmm, i never had any problem like that with teamspeak or vent when I had windows vista. Maybe its just with ET??

No this happens with other games as well, COD4 etc etc etc. Maybe you had UAC turned off.

I have also the same problem,i am going to run vent as adminstrator(i have vista)and will see what happens.

Yep its vista. Happend to a frend of mine. simple fix though
