Theo519 Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 I read that VIP's could stay AFK on a map with out being kicked How would we know who is a VIP? is there special designation? Are they obvious to see? How long would you let a non VIP stay in spectator mode? Quote
gigabyte Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 (edited) Why does it matter? if server is full then yeah a warn or kick is right. But to know i think the command is !checkadmin name or !admincheck name. Edited April 27, 2010 by gigabyte Quote
fred Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 its admincheck so lets say i wanted to check gigas admin because hes a noob and hasnt applied. i would type !admincheck giga Quote
Malokyte Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 its admincheck so lets say i wanted to check gigas admin because hes a noob and hasnt applied. i would type !admincheck giga Way to sound like a **** And you don't need to kick afk people until the server is nearly full. If there's 20 or so active players and 2 or so afks in a 48 slot server, keep them to give the illusion of a larger population. Once it gets around 44 or 46 players I'll start seeing whos afk. Quote
fred Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 Way to sound like a **** i didnt mean to sound like a **** it would suck if i came off that way Quote

KILLERGUN Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 no need to kick ppl from the spec mode till the server is totally full.. The reason being the more the ppl on the server the better it is for us...Also just run an admin check before !warn or !kick for spectators, u never know who it mite be Quote
DontShootMe Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 personally, I like to hang in spectator mode for a map so I can learn a new trick or two. I don't want to take a spot from an active player though. Quote
Administrators daredevil Posted May 8, 2010 Administrators Posted May 8, 2010 personally, I like to hang in spectator mode for a map so I can learn a new trick or two. I don't want to take a spot from an active player though. Server is hardly reaching to its max capacity. Feel free to sit in spec as much as you like and specing other players is not bad either. Their are many NON PB servers where they have not allowed specing other players so no one knows who is botting. But then again we run with PB ON and in easy spec mod. Golden run is if server is full, we still give you 25-45 mins before issuing kick unless someone knows u are not returning back in 45 mins then we might boot you off. Example: Rainier wants to join and server is full. So he calls FEM to boot Joe who is afk. Quote

Panther Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 Thats a good question. But.. < newbe,n00b,FNG,>Dieing doesn't teach me much.except i sux. .Watching other players teaches much more. even they run a differnt style. I've watch you and others on hot runs. (er that reads bad). My point is , don't take Spec mode out. It helps, also another point is..............AFK smoke breeak.......sometimes something unavoidable come up. But if you have to boot. Boot. ps excuse spelling Quote
