Hey guys! This section hasn't had many updates in a while, has it? Well let's change that! 

 

 

Recently I finished up an internship, so I had a good chunk of change to upgrade my older computer (found here: http://fearless-assassins.com/topic/62367-the-dark-slid/).I was originally going to upgrade the video cards, but then I thought: "Oh, I'll need a new PSU.... and a new CPU because I want to overclock.... and a new case, this one isn't very good looking..." etc. etc. so, I made a new build! What you'll see below is my newest computer:

 

CPU:                       i7-5820k overclocked to 4.4 GHz at 1.3V Vcore

CPU cooler:            Corsair H100i with 2x SP120 fans (for the color coordination, really, let's be honest here)

MOBO:                   ASUS X99-Pro USB3.1

RAM:                      16 GB of Crucial DDR4 2400 MHz 

GPU(s):                  2 x Sapphire Fury X in Crossfire 

Case:                     Phanteks Enthoo Luxe 

PSU:                      EVGA SuperNova G2 1300 W 

Storage:                500 GB Samsung EVO SSD and a 1TB HDD from Western Digital

Extras:                   Sleeved white cables

Future plans: New monitor (wanna get that LG 27MU67 eventually), better headset, and some cable combs.

Where´d you get 2, two Fury X? I´ve been searching for em Fury X till the launch day and there´s hardly no availability in here(Europe), or they go as high as 1200€ which is ridiculous.

 

And do Fury X CF drive 4k? You can try it with VSR atm. 4k IPS Freesync monitor would be cool...

I was refreshing newegg for 6 hours before I finally got one XD And for the other, I got the last one at my local microcenter! I was truly lucky to get not only one, but two on release day Sadly, they're both the first pump, so there is pump whine, but it's not bad. Since the sales are soooo backed up, it's not worth it to RMA just yet for the newest pump revision. I'll do it soon! Holy crap, 1200 euros?!?!? I paid $650 for one and $700 for the other, so I think those prices were fair. 

 

As you may have seen from the FireStrike Image, I am a couple thousand points above a 4k gaming computer, so it shouldn't struggle at all at 4k! I only have one game on my pc right now (War Thunder) because I'm awaiting my HDD conversion slot to come in (sadly the HDD cages don't fit with 3 radiators, so I must use a 5.25'' drive bay to mount my HDD) and the release of Fallout 4, MGS:V, and Battlefront, but once those release I'll be able to push The Angel's Heart to the limit with 4k VSR! Sadly, for now, I am stuck at 1080p 144Hz, but that'll change hopefully soon.
