Almondo
did you update your drivers? ..of course, uninstalled and installed again the newest one. i did the same with ET.
Saint070
..of course, uninstalled and installed again the newest one. i did the same with ET. try to do the following: 1. create a shortcut for your ET.exe (right click on ET.exe and create a shortcut), 2. right click on the shortcut, select Properties and add to the line C:\Program Files (x86)\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\Et.exe (or similar) the text r_mode 4 and vid_restart. it have to look like: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\etmain\ET.exe" r_mode 4;vid_restart 3. execute the shortcut. delete the shortcut if et is running as usual. COFFIN
Are you using an AMD video card? If yes, start the Catalyst Control Center click on VGA-Display and search for the Image-Resize button. (Sorry I dont know the name of the button since i'm using it in german only). Then just activate GPU-resize for fullscreen. This solved my problem in past.. JoNny
Why do you even want to have a square screen? I've got the same notebook and it's fine. Also on my PC I play with widescreen. It's better in fact, as you apparently can see more and you won't have blackscreen on the sides. /JoNny

JoNny
Yes that's true. Changes are usually not welcome but with the time, you'll get used to it and you'll like it, I'm sure. Thanks for choosing my reply as the best answer! /JoNny
