Saint070 Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 i get an error "Could not load OpenGL subsystem" did you update your drivers? Quote
Almondo Posted July 19, 2015 Author Posted July 19, 2015 did you update your drivers? ..of course, uninstalled and installed again the newest one. i did the same with ET. Quote
Saint070 Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 ..of course, uninstalled and installed again the newest one. i did the same with ET. try to do the following: 1. create a shortcut for your ET.exe (right click on ET.exe and create a shortcut), 2. right click on the shortcut, select Properties and add to the line C:\Program Files (x86)\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\Et.exe (or similar) the text r_mode 4 and vid_restart. it have to look like: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\etmain\ET.exe" r_mode 4;vid_restart 3. execute the shortcut. delete the shortcut if et is running as usual. Almondo Posted July 20, 2015 Author Posted July 20, 2015 ...still the same shit. On the old one everything is fine , on the new one is like on the picture below. Quote
Saint070 Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Yes oké but you can run the game again so thats what was importent to get back. So now we can look what we can do about the resolution Quote
COFFIN Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Are you using an AMD video card? If yes, start the Catalyst Control Center click on VGA-Display and search for the Image-Resize button. (Sorry I dont know the name of the button since i'm using it in german only). Then just activate GPU-resize for fullscreen. This solved my problem in past.. Quote
Almondo Posted July 22, 2015 Author Posted July 22, 2015 its not high end notebook...it's an aspire E-15 with HD intel 4400 on board. I'm feeling like a noob couse i'm not able to fix it.... ....going to buy another one Quote
JoNny Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Why do you even want to have a square screen? I've got the same notebook and it's fine. Also on my PC I play with widescreen. It's better in fact, as you apparently can see more and you won't have blackscreen on the sides. /JoNny 1 Quote
Levi Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 What is your computer's resolution? Then get back to me. I can fix your problem. Control Panel > Display Quote

JoNny Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Yes that's true. Changes are usually not welcome but with the time, you'll get used to it and you'll like it, I'm sure. Thanks for choosing my reply as the best answer! /JoNny Quote
