Here's 10 minutes of The Division, Ubisoft's latest Clancy branded open-world shooter. Unlike the faux-pally military banter of the game's on-stage demo, here we get a narrator explaining what is happening and why. It is, unsurprisingly, a much more effective way to get a feel for how the game will play.

The focus of the video is the Dark Zone—The Division's PvP area. Entering it is seamless, with no lobbies or menus required. Once inside, you'll be able to find or steal loot from under the noses of a variety of players.

Attack a non-hostile player and you'll be marked as rogue, thus letting other players attack you with impunity in the hope of collecting a bounty. I'm not sure that's enough to stop players devolving into a shoot-on-sight mentality, but it should lead to some engaging encounters after the fact.

This is the most amazing thing in the world.

When sin and I played LC it had a similar pvp system. Everyone in the field had a white name. If you attacked other players for no reason, you would gain a red name. Which gives white name players incentive to kill you without penalty. They would gain a blue name which we dubbed 'smurfs'. THis sort of PVP system is the most fun as it really creates a community. You can tell who the white knights are and who the pkers are.

Hopefully Usbisoft doesn't f*** up the game like the newest AC or Watchdogs.  Definitely interested in this title.
