Dramatic CCTV footage has emerged from China, capturing the moment a gas tank exploded in the boot of a taxi.
The footage captured on a security camera in Guizhou Province earlier this month shows flames suddenly erupting from the taxi as the canister explodes.
According to news reports, the vehicle was set up to operate on two types of fuel – petrol and gas.
The accident which was caused by a gas leak, injured three people including the taxi driver a passenger and a bystander.

Technically, the propane gas tank did not explode, but rather the gas that had leaked and accumulated in a closed space.  I wonder what set it off?

If this action was in a movie or on TV, then the fireball would have been 30 meters around and the driver would have been a burnt to a crisp in the front seat and still grasping the steering wheel.
