SEATTLE —  Police and fire crews were able to use a ladder to rescue a half-naked man hanging upside down by his foot from a basketball hoop at Cal Anderson Park in Seattle.

Police were called to the park on Capitol Hill around 6:30p.m. Friday to reports of a shirtless man with a hammer hanging from the hoop.

After a few minutes of wildly gesticulating, twirling and kicking the man stopped long enough for the rescuers to get a hold of him and dislodge his foot from where it was stuck.

Police said the unidentified man had been arrested.

what do you have to be on to get stuck half naked, upside down, in a BB hoop with a hammer...
