Ann!b@l Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 (edited) I used every software that you provide Annibal but seems my Chrome keeps infected with Roll Round Ads, right now I'm using Firefox. The tools have probably worked and removed some files, but like it's sometimes the case, addons or\and programs of this adware remain on your pc and affects your browser. 1) open your Control panel\ Programs\Uninstall a program, and there make sure than there's no unwanted programs installed on your pc. If it's the case use the free version of RevoUninstaller in order to uninstall and to get rid of those progs related to this adware and all files or registry keys linked (babylon for example). 2) download also this one and perform a cleaning of your pc in using its Clean and Registry options. 3) now download this tool and run it with admin rights: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/tfc/ 4) first of all, do a backup your bookmarks on all your browsers (Chrome & Internet Explorer). IE (Internet Explorer): -open IE, click on the gear icon, select Manage Add-ons. You will see an addons window manager. Look for Roll Around and other suspicious and related plugins and disable them (again babylon plugin for example). -click again on the gear icon and select Internet Options. In General tab, see here if the URL is malicious. If it's the case replace it by your prefered\default domain you want to use and click Apply. -still in those Internet Options tabs, go in the Advanced one. Click on Reset, tick the box "Delete personal settings", and confirm by clicking again on Reset. Chrome: -Open Chrome, in the address bar, type this: chrome://extensions -remove every (unknown) pluggins related to this adware in using trash icon. -still in the address bar, type this now: chrome://settings -in the search section click on the Search Engines manager. Click on the "X" to remove all malicious URLs. Still in chrome://settings, go at the end of the page and there click on Reset Browser Settings. Don't hesitate to perform on all browsers present on your pc (like Firefox than you seem to also use) the same kind of operations. 5) run again all the tools I asked you to use in my previous post. See how go things after that. If the issue still persists then a full and clean reinstall of Chrome will be needed. Edited March 18, 2015 by Ann!b@l 1 Quote
