=Plat00n= Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 (edited) Just seen this photo on the news wildlife at its best. This weasel got ninja skills The amateur photographer who took a picture of a weasel on the back of a woodpecker mid-flight says it is "almost a dream". Martin Le-May took it while walking with his wife in Hornchurch Country Park in east London. He said he was proud that so many have seen his image and hoped it inspired others. Leader RedBaird Posted March 4, 2015 Leader Posted March 4, 2015 I didn't know that weasels came that small, but Wikipedia says, " In the UK, the term "weasel" usually refers to the smallest species Mustela nivalis (also known as the least weasel)." That has to be the 'least-est' weasel that I have seen a picture of! Ambitious bugger, isn't he or she? Quote
