JimboSlice75
Hey guys! I was wondering if anyone who knew more about GPUs and video cards could tell me whether I have Integrated Graphics or a graphics card. Here's the link (it's not the place I bought it from, but Staples had the best info). Compaq Presario CQ61-420US

Administrators JoeDirt Posted March 28, 2010 Administrators Share Posted March 28, 2010 All laptops have integrated graphics, since its not possible to replace it, there are adapters that you can purchase and actually utilize a pci-e card meant for a desktop. That laptop has ATI Mobility Radeonâ„¢ HD 4200 Graphics with 128MB Display Cache Memory with up to 1534MB total graphics memory. 1534mb depends on how much ram you have in your comp. detoren
There are cpu who can take care of the graffics without a graffic card this isnt one of them its a onboard card (intergrated ) and you cant rlly play games with it some you can but not like cod probb . and some games wont start up cos the computer dont have enough power (game detect no sufficient graffic card ). try find laptop with radeon 4600 series or higher or nv 8400 or higher to play a bit games .
