This is primarily brought up because of the whole Master Server List being down for weeks. Figured it might help some people if we can get some DNS A records like ET has. Instead of remembering IP addresses and port numbers, we can bring it down to just port numbers.

 

 

Maybe something like:

 

cod4.clan-fa.com

cod4-euro.clan-fa.com

 

 

Then when you are in COD4, you can do /connect cod4.clan-fa.com:28934 to go to Beginners and so on.

 

 

You can also accomplish this on your local PC by placing a host file entry in. If anyone is interested and needs help, I can assist.

Try cod4server.clan-fa.com:28930 after 1 hr. For other servers just change port
