Could it be the security from your et folder preventing you from opening these files?

I don't have any more time to put into this I'm affraid, as I have a plane to catch. But I wanted to bring this up. Can't think of many other things that could cause this problem...

 

Another thing you could try is recording on another mod, see if it's a mod problem.
