I don't know, this notice is Technology or Science & Space? I have posted in Spam :P

 

IERS made the announcement and the day of June 30 will have 86,401 seconds, instead of 86,400 seconds and the length of the day on the Earth will have an extra second.

Ehhhh. Who cares?

People get so uptight and anal retentive over time, lol. It doesn't exist in anything besides a psychological state. It's nice for appointments, meetings, meals etc... but really all I care is whether it's day or night (and I can use my eyes for that :P)... the rest is easy enough to figure out.
