Here is a quick photo I took of a sunset at our son's house.  The unique thing about this picture is that I used a Polaroid filter. 

Yeah, I used a Polarizing filter at night.  By turning the filter, you can adjust the amount of polarization you want.  So I turned it

until I got the clouds to show purple on their edges.  But in so doing, it also brings a counter light effect on the snow in front and

it added purple to the hills.

Never stop experimenting with photography. You never know what you will come up with.
