I've never gone to war in coc so I was wondering if someone could explain it to me and how to prepare?

Come join the war side =f|a= clan war. You need to join the night before war search which is every Friday and Monday, so join on either Thursday or Sunday. You will get good experience and if you feel you need a break you can always rejoin the peace side.

/\ not what she asked :P

CoC Clan war

A clan war in clash of clans is just like raiding a base for resources, however slightly different.

During a clan war it is all about the % of the enemy you can destroy, or how many stars you can get during your attack (you have 2 attacks per war)

50% destroyed -> 1 star

100% destroyed -> 1 star

Town hall destroyed -> 1 star

---------------------------------------- +

3 stars total to get per attack

the more you destroy the bigger the reward in the end of the war, and if you win you also get a bonus for winning :D

Preparing for a war raid

There is not a lot to this in all honesty, you just look at what target comes close to your level and figure if you can destroy it 100% or not, and what troops you need to do so.

then produce the troops if you have selected the target and had a chat with the others if noone else was planning before you on that target and go for it and hope for the best result.

During the war it is important to also give out troops to clanmates who need them for their attack.

Preparing your base for defense

Make sure you have a setup where your townhall is hidden aswell as your clan castle.

The townhall so they dont have access to an easy star, the clan castle as it hides your supportive troops and you dont want those lured out and nuked by a spel / archer wave

then get some good troops from clanmates for defense and you are done with that part aswell :)

Hope this helped.
