Increase the population Of BF:BC2

Everytime I am online I find the server full and thus it is frustrating as I can't enter the bfbc2 server. So we may wanna increase the population

i have the opposite problem.... I always see the server empty..... kinda sad too. Has it gotten more popular since my last play (wed night?)

It's mostly empty. Some days I'll see people in it, but all it takes is for the teams to become unbalanced to cause the whole server to empty.

The key to having a full server is praying to the bad company 2 gods that your server(s) are in the "Play Now" group.

 

All you got to do is camp server for 2 hours and it will enter in play now group.

I'll do some camping in the server tomorrow. I like to go in there when it's empty anyways to practice my heli flying.

Many pople do have this issue. The latest patch has fix the issue mostly. If this is still an issue then add =FA= members to your friends list and hop on vent. Then you will be able to chat and be able to join the server.

The friend request apparently isn't working because me and ko sent requests to each other and nothing. I am on vent every day... How is hoping on vent going to help me find the server? I think ill re-install .

BC2 is really starting to pis me off...i had to get new vid card, no biggie. but with a 3.4 processor, 2 gigs RAM, a brand new radeon, and NOTHING running in the background, the lowest ping i can get ANYWHERE is on our server when EMPTY at 180. and it takes close to 3 mins to load ANY map. and i can't add ANY server to favorites, it just sits at the 'collecting info' screen forever. and i can only find our server if i do a full refresh, and wait forever for DICE to find all servers. even if i set ALL setting to lowest, there's still massive lag in close combat. i love the BF series, but DICE and EA together is like TC and guns....you know somethings going to get f***ed up

Server updated to R8 release.

 

Workaround for the “player manages to join server twice” crash. Now the server detects this and refuses the player entry. Client might hang but it will not take down the server as well.
Workaround for the “cannot join player to any team” crash. Teams might get uneven, most notably SQDM sessions with 5v3 players, but the server should no longer crash.
Game sends PB output to pbucon (so pb webtool can be used to run PB commands and see their results)

LOL everytime after playing bfbc2, my cod4 and mw2 lags like shit...idk why. Does Anybody have this problem?

Your game could be lagging because BC2 has a problem where it sometimes leaves the game process running even after you quit. Every time you quit BC2 open Task Manager, go to the Processes, and look to see if BFBC2.exe is still running. If it is, end the process.
