If you’ve never played the game before then you can add it to your Origin library and play it for free for 168 hours. This is the full game with no restrictions—bar the time limit—and the timer won’t start until the first time you launch the game. Remember that the clock will run in real time, even if you’re not actually playing it, so you get 168 hours from the moment you launch the game. Progress made during the Game Time will be carried over to the retail version if you choose to buy it. As well as this, from now until November 10 all Battlefield 4 players can earn double XP.
