Ol Smoke Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Really good. But you had better know quantum physics and the relationship between gravity and space time, or you will be left behind in this movie. The graphics are excellent and the storyline is good, although the scientific world will have a good laugh at the black hole thing. But it was entertaining, and that is what is important. 1 Quote

Leader RedBaird Posted November 9, 2014 Leader Posted November 9, 2014 I read a McClatchy Newspapers review of the movie. It had some mistakes in Science and grammar. "In the not-distant future, human civilization has settled into entropy." Into entropy? "So he's teaching the kids self-reliance, reasoning." I guess that in his grammar, commas can replace the word "and". This reviewer also keeps saying things like, "You will fear science a little less." He also says that the film has many references to, and images from other science fiction films to as least as far back as "2001" That can be a real hoot for a fan of the genre. The title of the review is a bit hyperbolic: " 'Interstellar' is a movie as ambitious as spaceflight itself" Quote
