In addition, the publisher put out a video highlighting the extra features owners of NVIDIA graphics cards will be able to take advantage of.  These include percentage closer soft shadows (PCSS), which makes the edges of shadows fuzzier the further they fall from the object casting them, horizon-based ambient occlusion plus (HABO+), which improves shadows on detailed objects that occlude light, and Hairworks, which insures tigers and yaks will have the most realistic fur this side of the actual Himalayas. Far Cry 4 is due out on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on November 18.
