Xernicus Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 I picked up an Atomic coffee maker yesterday, and not only is this thing sweet looking, but I was able to produce espresso-like coffee *with crema* on my third try with the proper heat and valve settings + the perfect amount of grounds. Anni: I know that you're "old fashioned" when it comes to coffee, preferring a french-press to an auto-drip machine, and I thought that you would get a kick out of this:Here's a picture of the iconic mushroom cloud shaped logo: The "safety rod" that goes through the grouphead (that is supposed to be removed at all times...) The ironic boiler plug: Here's the control valves, for the steam wand, safety rod, and where you put in the water I decided to make a cappuccino, so I assembled the whole thing and put it on my stovetop: And here, after I steamed some milk, there was still some coffee dribbling out, and you can see a faint layer of crema atop the coffee. 3 Quote
