Plugging in a mic does wonders for CoD4. Plug in a mic Restart system (If you haven't tried that) Verify game cache (Steam option... 0 Chameleon Posted August 14, 2014 Share Posted August 14, 2014 (edited) I actually bypass steam all together when I play. I made a shortcut to the iw3mp.exe and never use steam when I play.. That way I cut down on processes running while I play. Plus it gives me slightly better performance..
