KILLER/GIRL Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Hi there, Does anyone know how to download Wolfenstein Enemy Territory for Mac OS X? Hope I'll get a quick answer of you guys, because I want to play as fast as I can! X Quote
Xernicus Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Heya, and welcome to the forums!First I need to know just one thing, what version of OS X are you using? (You can find this in Apple Menu -> About this mac) Quote
Xernicus Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Thanks You will have to use ET:legacy, which is an open source port/mod of ET. Everything is mostly the same though. You will want to copy over your etconfig.cfg file though to wherever this installs.Link to download: http://www.etlegacy.com/index.php?r=etlcontrol/release/downloadAnd here's the wiki about it, there are some changed cvars and stuff, so it's worth looking through. http://dev.etlegacy.com//projects/etlegacy/wikiGood luck! Let me know if you have any questions or concerns about it. Quote
xDingDongWang Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Just a pointer that it only works on Legacy and Silent mod servers! Quote
Xernicus Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Just a pointer that it only works on Legacy and Silent mod servers! That has been fixed for awhile now. "The OS X release of ET:L should be compatible with any mod that builds with Intel binaries specifically for OS X. It’s confirmed to work with at least silEnT, ETrun, jaymod, and Legacy." Quote
KILLER/GIRL Posted July 2, 2014 Author Posted July 2, 2014 Haha I still don't know how to download, because I'm a girl though. Step 1: Download ET for mac OS X http://www.etlegacy....elease/download Step: Then I see a upcoming screen Enemy Territory Legacy? What are the following steps? :$ Quote
Xernicus Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Haha, it's all good. Always happy to help. So once you've downloaded the ET legacy DMG file: http://mirror.etlegacy.com/release/ETLegacy_v2.71rc4-c1.dmg, open it up from your Downloads folder. It will show up on your desktop as like a USB drive. Open that up, and there should be an installer. If not, then just create a folder in "Applications" in the Finder named ETLegacy, and just copy and paste the files over. 2 Quote
