Hey guys and gals. I recently had a system crash and I'm currently reinstalling everything (I needed a full reinstall of my OS). Well, as the title says, I cannot connect to FA hardcore or any other servers. It simply times out. Any suggestions? I'm sure this isn't a unique situation but i've never had the problem before. I am using an old install off my E drive, but I think that's how I did this last time, when i got the new system.

Power cycle your computer and any network equipment you have (router, modem, etc.) and give it another try for starters.

just quick question are, how are you connecting to server? by /connect or using menu?

Typically it may take some time until the Master Server List is refreshed.

I typically go to my favorites and choose the server from there. I also tried by changing my source to internet (instead of favorites or local) and selecting from there but no dice. I also tried other random servers and had similar difficulty. I'll try again tonight but I won't be able to experiment for long as i'm switching to mornings at work, and need to get up at 3 AM (blah). This may need to continue on the weekend. :-/

Well, the system crashed again so the point is moot I guess. Dangit. Guess it's time to empty my pockets and get another system. In the meantime, i'll see you as I play on my crappy, crappy laptop. :/
