Wow how unlucky we was yesterday, we was way much better than Ducks in last night game, but we didnt put pucks net in open chances and Ducks made couple lucky goal and first goal was easy goal to Dubnyk what he should have save, and second goal Dumba gave great pass to duck players who shot and second duck player direct puck in the net. We hard schedule coming when we play against Ducks (yesterday) St. Louis, Nahsville, Washington and St. Louis, i think St. Louis is best team in NHL after Wild now, they have best defencive group and deepest offencive group, only goalie situation is question mark, even that Elliott played well in this season. Today game against St. Louis, we can win if we play like we play last night!

Yeah Great won from Wild last night against St. Louis, we had back to back games and second period we look very tired, but somehow we came to third period like new team and won game, Dubnyk was awesome in goal and made over 40 save, i start love that guy and he is taken place in my idols list very fast, Dubnyk win game to us, one game more what he had win to us, if in last game he gave easy goal in this game he win game to us and take that goal back for multiple time.

Btw we had prediction what is hardest division in NHL and looking that i and meow quess right when we say Wild (Centreal) division is hardest and Pasicif is easiest. From Central division there is 5 team going in playoffs and its only division where 5 team is going in playoffs and top 3 pacific teams have taken less points than any other division top three.

Centeral is best division in NHL, will be come so interesting to follow how tight will be in that division.

And as for the Central being the BEST in the NHL ??? ok you got Chicago and St Louis ... and THEN WHO ? Colorado won't be as good as last year I'm beating, and sorry but Minnesota is still 2 or 3 pieces of the puzzle away, Dallas MAYBE just MIGHT Shock some people, but ???

In the PACIFIC ... heck in CALIFORNIA ALONE ... you have the LA KINGS, the SJ Sharks, the Anahiem Ducks  :o  3 perennial playoff powerhouse teams ... I think you maybe need to stay up late and watch some WEST COAST HOCKEY my Friend  ;)

Why i say that Central is best division was because they are only division where 5 team will go to playoffs. (i think that will happen) Yes your division have LA Kings and SJ and Anaheim, but who is after them? no one i think, maybe in your division three best take more points than my division three best, but in my division we have more cup challengesr than you division. I dont think that Colorado go to playoffs neither, but Wild, Chicago, St. Louis, Dallas and Nashville will go to playoffs i think. (maybe in my rating points give us different predictions, let see)

Yeah, the pacific division is a monster. Just because of California teams. I thought the same as you but looking at the teams in both division...I think the central division is stronger overall.

Pacific:

Sure Playoffs teams: Los Angeles, San Jose, Anaheim

Wild card playoffs teams: none

Will miss playoffs: Vancouver and Arizona (they're both going down), Calgary (shit team), Edmonton(shit team. but hey, maybe it's their year)

Central:

Sure Playoffs teams: Chicago, St-Louis, Colorado

Wild card playoffs teams: Minnesota, Dallas, Nashville (yeah Nashville, if Rinne stays healthy)

Will miss playoffs: Winnipeg

And in the East, I think only Boston and maybe Pittsburgh(if Fleury plays well) could win the cup.

BUT IT'S THE NHL!!! Anything can happen!

Heh was fun to take these couple prediction from start of season, ofcourse there is still time and LAK can take playoff spot but still, in Pacific only Anaheim have more than 85 points, when from Central have three teams who got more than 85 points and same can say for Atlantic and Metropolitan divisions.

Season hasn't come to an end YET has it ?

I'll give you that Minnesota has played better than I expected, in no small part thanks to the efforts of Dubnyk's goaltending heroics, but they are still a WildCard bubble team, they may or may not make the playoffs this season.

My LA Kings, they've been in and out of a playoff spot and hot and cold, but they seem to be getting hotter and moving up as we get closer to the playoffs, I think they will make it in, and let's be honest WHO wants to play a HOT LA KIngs team in the first round of the playoffs ?  The teams regular season numbers have not been impressive, neither were they in 2012, 2013 or 2014 ... but we all know how those seasons FINISHED don't we ?  B)

San Jose, damn I didn't expect them to be THIS bad, but they could still sneak in, so don't write them off just yet.

I gotta say the BIGGEST Shock are the Calgary Flames, damn !  :o  I'm still waiting for them to fall, but they just don't ... but every year we have a team like this that seems to come out of nowhere, yet also go nowhere come playoffs and return to mediocrity the following year ... thank you Colorado for living up to my predictions.

My second Shocker team ... gotta be Nashville ... did NOT think these guys would be a playoff team, let alone be pushing for a Presidents Trophy. You always thought it was just the great coaching of Trotz getting more out of the players, but Laviolette has seemingly somehow taken it up a notch this season. Impressive !

Anyways still what about 4 weeks and 14 games give or take, depending on your team, left to play ... so a lot can change ! let's revisit this in another month shall we.

and let's be honest WHO wants to play a HOT LA KIngs team in the first round of the playoffs ?

No one. Even when COLD, you don't want to face the Kings in the first round. They're built for playoffs hockey.

San Jose, damn I didn't expect them to be THIS bad, but they could still sneak in, so don't write them off just yet.

They might as well not make it and have a slight chance at the McDavid lottery!

They need to fire their GM and coach. They need to bring in a new way of thinking.

this season is full of surprises...

Who surpised you, only one who surprised me have been Calgary and that Dallas played so poorly, even that i knew that Defence will be they weak point, and Anaheim have surprised me also, but goalies can be too youngs to win cup in this season.

For Colorado in my predictions points they was in playoff spots even that i think that they not go in playoff and last season was just hot season, Colorady need badly new defenders, offencive group is good and goalie is star but defencive group is garbage, only Barrie is star defender and Hejda solid defecive way denfender.

Season hasn't come to an end YET has it ?

Yep season not over yet, but look like you didnt see a lot Wild games in this season, you keep thinking that Wild cant win cup or you think that we win only because Dubnyk, but look like you didn't watch Wild games, we give less shot than anyone else in NHL and that because we defencive so well, our penalty kill is league best and we havent lose two game row after all-start break, after that break we have been best team in NHL. Everyone keep thinking that Wild cant win cup, but after they watch our games they can see how good we are and how much we have good young players in roster, in my mind we remind a lot of Kings, we are build like playoff team, we are not so good in regular season and we are hard to win poor teams, but we keep play our best games against best teams. No one believe your team when they won they first cup or even second cup after regular season, everyone keep thinking same about Wild! But i believe on my team and if ppls watch Wild games and i mean more than just one game they will see how we play and can see what i see too, that we are very good team, and we win because we play well, not only because Dubnyk, yes Dubnyk win games to us sometimes as every good goalie do time to time, team cant play well in every single game. But i understand why you think so, we played against LAK couple time and lose those games so you didnt see how well we can play, even that second LAK was good game from us even that we lose that game.

Yeah Calgary still can drop out of playoffs or Vancouver and Kings can take that last playoff spot, but can be possible that they cant take playoffs spot in this season, let see. I dont know why Kings have been out of playoff spot most of season, but i think one key of that it have been that Voynov have been out full season, i think Voynov is equal good as Doughty and in NHL is only couple Defender who is good as Voynov and LAK or any other team in NHL cant lose his caliber player without affecting playoff changes. Quick havent play as good hockey as he usually play, when he is hot Kings win, but when he play just ok level its so much harder to Kings win games when they usually do only couple goal per game. But i can be wrong because i havent watch LAK games its only feeling what i get from stats what not always show whole true. But Kings still good team and it will surprise if they drop out of playoffs.

Meow do you want make playoff pool to us again as last season? Where we quess stanley winner.

Btw i think Todd McLellan is one of most best Coatches in NHL, San Jose lost they wide, they only have couple star player like Thornton, Marleu, Pavelski and Couture, its just not enough in NHL level, you need stars players in three line, like last seasons cup winners had and this season teams who is in playoff spots, plus biggest is SJ defender group, Burns is too lonely there, Vlasic is very good defencive defender, but after those two there is no one, Niemi is not top 15 goalie even that he is solid he is not top 15 goalie, and biggest weakness in my mind is your GM, he never done any big trades in season, he havent get any new big free agents in team for several season, who is last start player who San Jose got from free agent??? Niemi and that has over 4 season, so you team should kick your GM and take GM who can make trades when needed and in trade deadline when team need more width in roster, your GM never done big trades when season going, and last big trade in offseason had couple season too. (Heatley <->Havlat) So SJ have been in Pause mode couple season when other team have been make themself stronger in free agent acquires and trades

Yeah sure we can make the same playoffs pool as last year.

And what are the surprises? Ok let's go

Montreal...seriously I'm from Quebec and I see them a lot. if it wasn't for Price they would be fighting for a wildcard...might even be worse..But now they're 2nd in the East.

Islanders are having a pretty good season. Better than expected.

Boston are fighting for wildcards, they've been better lately but that wasn't expected

I expected Philadelphia to fight for a wildcard and Columbus too (gotta admit Columbus has had way too many injuries lol)

Nashville are having a very good season, I thought they would be fighting for a wildcard.

Calgary...seriously wtf lol. Go Calgary xD

LA and SJ are bad (well not as good as usual)...this is not normal.

the rest are fighting for wildcards but I thought Colorado and Dallas would be a little better.

Yep, but when you change GM...the new one brings his own coaches. But I'm sure Todd McLellan would find a job with another team!

8 win row (in away) and its new record of Wild! We have tough end of regular season when our last three game of regular season are game againts Chicago, Nashville and St. Louis in away, and in 12 last game in season we play against teams like Washington, St. Louis, New York I, Los Angeles, New York R, Detroit, Winnipeg Chicago, Nashville and St. Louis, there is only couple game against teams who are outside of playoffline (Toronto, Calgary). So we have to continue play well as we now play and like we play in playoffs

Btw anyone saw what i have been admired in this season, many goalies played great season, and we have amazingly much goalies who got at least .925 savepercante (over 30 game) and even more goalies who got at least .920 percante, plus look like we maybe not get any player to go more than point per season, look like anyone will not get even 90 point in this season. I dont know what is smallest amount of points what winner had when he won Art ross in history of NHL (82-84 game)

Goalies who are in save% .925 or higher (at least 30 game played) in this season

Carey Price .935

Devan Dubnyk .929

Cory Schneider .929

Cam Talbot .928

Pekka Rinne .926

Corey Crawford .926

Steve Mason .925

Craig Anderson .925

Total of 8 goalie

Goalies who got save% .925 or higher in last season (2013-2014) at least 30 game played

Tuukka Rask .930

Semyon Varlamov .927

Carey Price .927

Anton Khudobin .926

Total of 4 goalie

So in this season we have two time more goalies who got atleat save% of .925% Its very big jump. Ofcourse there is still games left but still, its have been season of goalies.

Goalies who got atleats save % of .920% in this season (30 at least game played)

Carey Price .935

Devan Dubnyk .929

Cory Schneider .929

Cam Talbot .928

Pekka Rinne .926

Corey Crawford .926

Steve Mason .925

Craig Anderson .925

Braden Holtby .924

Tuukka Rask .924

Marc-Andre Fleury .922

Henrik Lundqvist .922

Brian Elliott .922

Semyon Varlamov .922

Roberto Luongo .922

Eddie Läck .921

Total of 16 goalies who has got at least .920% savepercent

Goalies who got atleats save % of .920% in last season (2013-2014) 30 at least game played

Tuukka Rask .930

Semyon Varlamov .927

Carey Price .927

Anton Khudobin .926

Ben Bishop .924

Sergei Bobrovsky .923

Jonathan Bernier .923

Brian Elliott .922

Ben Scrievens .922

Jaroslav Halak .921

Corey Schneider .921

Henrik Lundqvist .920

Total of 12 goalies got at least .920% savepercant in last season, so we have 4 goalie more than last season who got save% what is atleast .920

aaaaaaah so frustrating lost against WSH, we had our changes to win game, sometimes hockey is soooooo hard to watch, luckly it was not Word Championship tournament where one poor/unlucky game can mean that you out of tournament. At the moment we have hard time to win in Home Ice. Last seven home game 3-4-0, but in away we are 8 game winning streak :) next game against St. Louis, and we have to win because we are 1 point safe from first non playoff team. Plus it will be my third live game what i see in this season :) cant wait tomorrow, im already so excited. In my mind NHL bosses suck when they cant make rule that every team have play at least 10 european time game, example every alternative weekends they play home game in europian time. That way we europian fans can see more live games too and its key to success if NHL want expire to Europe (i dont mean europian teams) in Europe we have a lot NHL fans too, but NHL dont respect us at all.

lol Do you realize how hard it must be to make a schedule for 30 teams for a whole season. considering planes, flights, hockey arena availabilities, and that it is already played in 3 different timezones.

Most of the games are played around 7-7:30PM in their timezones, which is the best time of the day to get fans to the arena.

And for games during the day in weekends, it's usually the same teams because I guess it works there.

Yeah ofcourse i can understand that, but if they want invest in Europian side they can do it, for your reply to get fans in arena it is in my mind wrong, real fans come to arena in anytime, if it weekend, fan not watch clock and think ooh game start in 14:00 (23:00 in finnish time) and say that wow that too earlie i dont go arena. Real fan do not care if came start 19:00 or 14:00, or if it affect it just laziness (from fans), ppls are easily so accustomed that game start same time every weekend so they cant think about any changes. But everyone can accustomed to changes if they want, if couple hour mean that you dont get ppls in arena i think its just laziness (from fans), in Europe we play games in many different times in hockey and soccer and it never affect arena populity, in soccer games can start 13:00 or even 22:00 and arenas are always full. So i dont know how it cant be possible in there too, and NHL is not only game where is hard to make schedules, but if they really want to invest in the europian fans they can do it. I just ask that everyone should be taken in account when NHL make schedules not only local fans, when Europian fans use a lot moneys too to watch games, but ofcourse i understand your point that teams get most of moneys when arenas are full, but my point is that everyone can accustomed changes if they want couple hour should not make so big difference if we talk alternative weekends. I not ask that half games is played in Europian time i just ask at least to 10 from 82 games. that not much to ask.
