Coming to an OUTDOOR RINK near you in San Jose,  THIS SATURDAY .....

...  Looking forward to this  :yahoo it Could have MASSIVE Implications on the Pacific standings Playoff Race  :yeye  GO KINGS GO !!!  :yahoo

I wish to get help from Kings now, because Jets is 7 away from us (Jets 3 game more played than wild) so in my mind we baddle agaist SJ, Van and CGY. San Jose is 3 point away from us but they played three game more than LAK and MIN, so i think that LAK drop SJ out of playoffline and then we play agaist VAN or CGY, and in next night we have game agaist CGY where we can get back to in two point range! So pls Kings drop CGY and VAN more closer to us! :)

LAK what you want/hope to see that you team doing in trade deadline, who is players who think can help your team like Gaborik did in last trade deadline? In my mind your team need one more defender when Voynov is out, and maybe third liner too who can make more goals to your team! And who you are ready to give in exchange?

THAT is a very difficult situation for the Kings this year.

The Slava Voynov mess is just that, A MESS !  <_< ... even though the NHL have allowed the Kings cap relief while he is suspended during this trial, it's not like the Team can just go out and replace him, because if he's found innocent he would come back and still be under contract with the Kings and count towards the cap hit, so they don't really have "his" cap money to go out and spend. Also the Mike Richards mess, of being waived and sent down to the AHL, the majority of his cap hit remains and counts against the Kings salary limits as well. Hopefully Mike finds his game and legs again in the AHL ( looks like he might be ? ) and can be called up IF and for the playoffs. Mike Richards is a HELL of A PLAYOFF Hockey Player as we all know. Or maybe we work a Trade for him, Toronto is rumored to be interested in him and Jordan Weal, but for what in return ?

Hopefully Tanner Pearson can get healthy and return from the broken leg and be back for the Playoffs as well, the Kid was on a tear when he got injured, and can definitely can score.

Frankly I just don't see use doing much at the Trade deadline, maybe we make a trade with Toronto involving Mike Richards as has been rumored ? but what D man comes back, as Cody Franson is now gone ? Can't really see any deal that makes sense for us anymore ...

I'd LIKE us to maybe acquire Andrej Sekera, from the Carolina Hurricanes. I think he'd fit in well and be someone that would help our team. BUt what do the Kings give up, and what would Carolina take in return ? I'd give up players like Dwight King, Jordan Nolan, Trevor Lewis and Jamie McBain as well as a mid level prospect like Jordan Weal ... but would some combination of that be enough ? hard to say yes.

I think the Kings will do very little if anything this year when all is said and done, and any help will have to come from internal sources, either returning healthy players ( Pearson + Richards ) and/or calling up kids from the minors ( Derek Forbort & Nick Shore ).

Wild won 6 game straight too, we won Calgary last night, but we played only one period and great goal from Koivu in overtime, we just stop play our game agaist Calgary, i think we really need one forward too now when Zucker is out for next 4-6 week. I hope that we get on the track again. Dubnyk won a lot game to us.

Pekka Rinne have been amazing in goal, i really think that he deserver Hart Trophy, he made and make impossible saves night afte night, Nashville dont defence as well than Montreal so thats why Rinne is higher in my trophy tracker than Price. I recommend you to go NHL.com and watch Rinne last three games from Highlights, he make impossible saves and use his head too to save puck and you can see how poorly Nashville sometimes defence front of him, in some saves Nashville players just stop playing and watch how Rinne make impossible saves after rebounts when own defenders not do they work. Rinne is so so fast in goal too, i think he is best goalie in world now and MVP of NHL, i havent see that kind goalie game for years!

Wild lose against Oilers :( Wild came in first period with wrong attitude, they think that they will get easy win against worst team in West but they was wrong and made game hard to themself, We was a lot better team in overal in that game when we was better in second and third period, but we mess great goal opportunites and Scrievens won game to Oilers, its very frustrating watchs game where opponed go and make goals for couple chances what they get and then only defence 55 min of game and won because we cant make goal when they goalie play so well and we are unlucky with opportunites, now next game is against Nashville in Thursday, but Calgary can take that last playoff spot from us if they win againts NJ today, and then we have to win Nashville. But we always played better against good teams than against poor teams in Yeo coatch time, i dont know why we usually play our poor game agaist worse team than us.

LA Fan, yes Kings live with Quick, he had hard start to season and Kings keep losing games when they are so dependent on how Quick play in goal, but lately Quick played very well and Kings started win again on those one goal games, little bit same as Wild situation. We both are teams who dont make a lot goals but defence well.

Wild buy Sean Bergenheim from FLA, i dont know why we take him and where he fit, when our wingers played ok, ofcourse we need more from Niederraiter and maybe he can take Nino spot who is very irregular player and Nino can take lower line role. I dont want trade Niederraiter, he is important scorer to us and still very young and talent, Maybe we can trade Coyle and get some defender in roster, even that we lost game, all is still in our hands, if we won those two extra games what we have to Winnipeg we can overtake them, we have extra games against SJ also, who is behind us so our main rival is Calgary atm, we must win Nashville if Calgary win against NJ tomorrow, i hope that NJ can win Calgary tomorrow, because Nashville is hard opponent when we have to play against them in Nashville, but let see, i believe that we can win that game.

WE HAVE A TRADE TO ANNOUNCE ...........

http://kings.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=755189

The L.A. KINGS have have acquired defenseman Andrej Sekera #4 from the Carolina Hurricanes in exchange for Kings prospect Roland McKeown  (50th overall pick in the 2014 NHL Draft) and a conditional* first round Draft Pick selection, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.    If LA makes playoffs this year, first rounder is this year. If LA misses, first rounder is next year

... just call me Kreskin  B) ... and we give up only a Prospect (albeit a good one, but he's still a couple years away) and a potentially LATE round pick, even LESS than I thought it would take ... way to Go Dean Lombardi.  :cheers

Congratz LA fan, it was great trade for your team, and make your team even more better, Wild need defender too so there is one less in available, im little bit envious how good defender you got, Sekera in underrated defender, he is good two way defender what is suitable in second pair minutes. Good catch mate!

EDIT: Calgary win against NJ so we have to win against Nashville, friend coming to visit in weekend so i see Nashville and Colorado games sunday after i drive my friend back to home, im so hoping that in sunday we can be back in playoff spot, front of Calgary or Winnipeg! Rämö is my favorite NHL goalie at the moment so its contradictory situation to me, when Rämö win and play great its not good for Wild lol, but im happy for Rämö and i hope he can take number one slot back or then he will be traded to San Jose or Colombus (because Bob injury) or Toronto if Bernier will be traded.

Have nice weekend!

You thought it would take more to get Sekera? Don't get me wrong he's a good defenseman. But I believe LA paid too much for him.

But you guys needed one more D like him. So I can understand.

Damn, I can't wait for the playoffs. Every playoffs game is usually exciting. Especially the first round.

I will try again this year to watch EVERY game. I failed last year due to some series I didn't have much interest like Anaheim-Dallas... and cuz I hate Montreal so much I couldn't stand they reached the eastern final. I still don't understand how they can win so many games this season. Goddamn Price, can someone hurt him ? :D
