Too many triangles....

OK. So was playing tonight and noticed this stuff start popping up in yellow just above the Obituaries.

 

 

When I opened my console, it had this stuff, but it also had rolling lines that said something like "Too many triangles to mark" that makes it impossible to read what people type in chat & stuff.

 

Tried restart/reboot. Anyway to get rid of this? Found this topic and tried updating drivers and still no go.

not sure if it will help you with the yellow text ingame, but check if con_minicon is set to 0. /set con_minicon 0

Here is a site that will convert a tga file to jpg format.  I tested it with an et.tga and it worked ok.  

 

You can browse from their page to your file, upload it, convert it and it auto-downloads the result to your default download folder.  

 

I did not read their "terms" first, though:  http://www.online-convert.com/terms , but Norton Security Suite did not blare an alarm.
