Kaliente Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 Hey, this is probably going to have to come from someone who has access to the server files etc., but maybe not if someone has managed to do the same themselves. I'm specifically looking for the files you guys use to run the Jay2 Server; and by files I mean the Omnibot.cfg, Jaymod.cfg, and Server.cfg I know a good majority will contain some sensitive information, since that is specific to the server I don't want/need the PW's etc., but would still really love these. The reason being I have pretty limited internet for now and I've managed to emulate what I got on the servers so far, albeit with great trouble, on a local host game. I really only want these because I want to setup my own local host game for the time being. Once I get back to regular internet I probably won't use it as much, but it still intrigues me to see how it's all put together after finding out how complicated the experience is on that server. Also maybe someone can let me know this from experience, my xpsave from launch to launch keeps resetting on this server is there something I'm missing in the cfg? Because I have xpsave 1 and xpsavetimeout 100d Anyways thanks if anyone can help/entertain me. Quote
Administrators daredevil Posted May 28, 2014 Administrators Posted May 28, 2014 We just use stock jaymod config. Nothing much modified in it. Same for omni's. 1 Quote
Kaliente Posted May 28, 2014 Author Posted May 28, 2014 Wow, I'm a major pleb then, but doesn't the majority of the settings like double jump etc require you to edit the cg_misc and so on, I mean are these just little tweaks you guys have made down the line? Quote

Server cvars normally start with g_ Yes we do tweak here and their but nothing major. 1 Quote
