Well, Im kinda like a noob at that kinda stuff. Dont know the first place to start at making a map. I guess I could proballygoogle.gif it and learn. But I dont know anything of how to start. But it would be appreciated if you could show me like how to start and what to do to at least start at it and do the basics, then I can try and learn off of what you taught me.

I guess I could learn to do it since I have soo muchh free time :D. I could use some help though since making a map can take months depending on the size.

Lol not to sure, but theres probally a way, we can all pitch in to help make a decent map that would be fun for every one to play.

I followed tutorial from this link ( http://www.pythononline.co.uk/et/tutorial.htm ) and I can say I grasped the basics and general idea how to make maps on your own. I had 0 knowledge about map making, so I followed every step and it worked perfectly from me, easy to understand and fun to do.

Also check out other links in those sticky threads. There's quite lot of them.

thats the best tutorial ive found as well and got me started but there are a few things that are not covered there that ive worked out, like models, movers, etc.

just got the tank working for the most part on my pow map.

the amusement park idea seems like a fun map and i could do some models for you of like roller coaster cars and the tags for them, that's the hardest stuff, as well as the map scripting and bot support, i can help with all of these.

i use gtk radiant 1.5 for the most part but if you import prefabs like ammo cab or command posts be warned that that version of radiant will add numbers to the names and mess the scripping all up on it, so for that i use 1.4 to import save and then open in 1.5 and all is well.

Well I will look at what Saizou posted for that link, and see what I can get from that. I just downloaded GTKRadiant 1.5 or whatnot last night, but I will download 1.4 also. All the help that I can get would be nice, since I am just barely learning and it would be very much appreciated.
