Ol Smoke Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 Was watching a show yesterday about male problems, and the topic turned to testicles. The guy on the show kept saying "the male testicles" when he referred to them. That hit me as one of the stupidest things I had ever heard. Females don't have testicles so why refer to them as "male". Hummm Quote
Leader RedBaird Posted March 6, 2014 Leader Posted March 6, 2014 From: Female Testicles,"Obsolete and erroneous term for the ovaries. This term was in existence until 1662 when Johannes Van Home, a Dutch professor of anatomy, coined the word ovaries." Quote
Teukka Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 So the guy is still living in time before 1662.. Well that's only ~350 years in the past, good for him. Quote
