           An asteroid 100 feet wide is set to squeak past the Earth early Wednesday evening, soaring fewer than 218,000 miles from our planet -- slightly closer than the orbit of the moon itself.

Not to swipe your thread but I just found out about a week ago, that an asteroid hit the moon, and the flash was visible to us.

No one reported this.  It happened about 5 months ago.

 

Like I said in another thread I made.  The big one is on its way.  Look out America.

Yeah I saw a video of that.. It was crazy! Made a huge flash so big, if you were looking you coulda seen it from earth..
