COD4 Demo Viewer

Well darnit, I had the cod4 player(from cyboplat) installed and working for years, with no issues. But as of my last cleaning and re-organizing of my pc, my player doesn't work at all, so I am un-able to watch demos or review them now. I tried re-installing it and still doesn't work, maybe I just put it in the wrong place on the pc, idk.

 

Would you guys please send me 1. links to the viewer you use, and 2. describe how/where on your pc it is installed for proper function?

 

I'd appreciate the help because I need to get this function working ASAP.

 

P.S. I have windows XP, and a partitioned C-drive

technically you can still review demos...you just have to use cod4 mod file...then open console and type /demo [demoname]

ok, I got rid of the old one, and installed the one you suggested DJ, but I don't understand how to make it work. Can you explain the file association thing? Will I need the demos in winrar or just as they first come, as dm.1'2

oh, Speed , I'm sry but that way blows for me, and takes forever.

I have another small issue, at some point I messed up my F12 button=screenshot function, so I haven't been able to ss anything. Anyone know the /bind f12 make scrrenshotjpeg command for console??

here's where my demo's are stored - E:\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\Mods

 

Is that what i type in the first box after I hit the setup button?

open the ZIP file and start the cod4player exe,after start Cod4 player press the "open demo" button, search your demo and double-click of the demo

OMG, I'm a noob, lol, got the viewer working, nvmd on that. Still need the command to make F12 work again though.

Thanks a bunch DJ,    I think I know what the problem was. My F12 button is broken. I switched the control to F11, and it works fine now.
