cobvious Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 I like doms idea if you're going to have a non standard map make it quick. it will be fun. Quote
The_Dom Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 I like keeping it 5 maps. More time to learn glitches, bounces and movement. Not trying to argue, but IMO that is irrelevant to the number of maps you are running. If we increase it to 7-8 would it really matter? Especially if the additional one are fast rounds like shipment and less total number of rounds. You will still see the same maps 3-4 times a night. Which is pretty much the the same right now. Also, I don't use my time in server to learn. I do use it for light practicing, ie B alley on crash. I really learn and practice by starting a server from my computer and doing the stuff I see people do or I find on youtube. Quote

I think you bring up valid points. I just learn better from seeing someone do it in person. Plus I'm easily bored so doing it on my personal server wouldn't work out well for me. IDC if we make it 5 maps or 100. As long as we can keep people in the server. People leave when a weird map comes up. As for shortening times, if its a small map I don;t think we need that. Look at Shipment now. We probably play a max of 5 minutes on that map and it's over. Smaller maps tend to go fast anyhow. Quote
