Skillz Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Just my opinion. I have heard some rumors about maybe a discussion of allowing noob toobs into COD4 FA servers. If we did this we would be no different that the other servers out there. When i first started to play I stumbled upon FA servers. The ONLY reason I stayed is because I loved the rules. Including no LS and no Toobs, martydom I didn't care either way. Just my opinion. Quote

kdoto Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 they are only temporarily allowed. i doubt it is going to be a permanent thing Quote
Administrators daredevil Posted February 2, 2010 Administrators Posted February 2, 2010 Should be fixed soon sometime by this weekend. Quote
Malokyte Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Regardless of grenade launchers, we should increase the jump height on our servers to 45 or 55. Opens some interesting areas for combat (I think, I might have the numbers off (also I'm aware I could have picked a better topic to post this in, but I wasn't thinking and I'm too lazy to back up)) Quote

Malokyte Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 If I wanted a kangaroo, I would have requested JumpSlowDown (or something like that) turned to 0. That's a bunny hoppers heaven. Quote
Higgeo Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 trickjummping i dont think would be a good idea. Noob tubes are ok but are very cheep. we had a vote and it was no if i remember. Quote
Malokyte Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 trickjummping i dont think would be a good idea. The jump height would only be an increase of 6 units from the default for 45, so it doesn't open THAT many options. The locations I know (or suspect) it makes either accessable or easier to reach are: Crash Shortcut (already accessable), Crash Marine-side 2 story building roof (already accessable), Crash Marine Spawn Building to Sandbagged roof jump (not tested yet), District Opfor archway (already accessable), Bog Barrel snipe spot (already accessable), Strike Sabotage market tent snipe area (already accessable), Backlot clothes hanger snipe spot (not accessable (and might not even be accessable with 45)), and probably at most 2 or 3 others I can't remember off the top of my head. Basically, it just increases the number of options to 2 more at most, and makes certain features already capable of being done just slightly easier. Not too game changing. Quote

Just my opinion. i agree with wat is said and that is the only reason i stood round to play on these servers because of the good rules and how they are enforced and i really want them to be not allowed or last stand and marty later check u all on the servers Quote
gigabyte Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 If claymores were ever to be banned, It would be my favorite servers to play on! Quote
Skillz Posted February 4, 2010 Author Posted February 4, 2010 I actually did look to see if I saw a vote or something but it was late and I was tired lol.. But I am glad they are not sticking around. I play HC server mostly now and havent noticed them there... Claymores don't bother me at all Quote
kdoto Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 yeah.. if you are lucky enough you could just run past the claymores Quote
Malokyte Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 yeah.. if you are lucky enough you could just run past the claymores Depends on how smart the person who's planting them is. Then you just need to barely trip it and back up quickly. Quote
