killzone
What kind of mic do i need??? would this one do?? http://www.ebgames.com.au/pc-147150-Microsoft-Lifechat-LX2000-Headset-PC or do i need a specific mic?
Saizou
I think any kind of mic should do as long as it works, though headsets are easier to use than mic that stands on table. IMO that one on link should be good.

IntenT-
Any headset or microphone that is for the PC will be fine. I looked on that specific site for you, since i'm in the USA and your in australia. I would recommend one of these 2 choice over the one you mentioned for the same amount of money or less. http://www.ebgames.com.au/pc-146021-Plantronics-Audio-325-Headset-PC http://www.ebgames.com.au/pc-148745-Plantronics-Audio-326-Headset-PC I'm pretty sure the only major difference is the 326 model has an in line volume adjustor and mic switch. If you wanted to shop around you could do better though. Heres a few links, I dont know about shipping and all that but i'm sure you can find these in stores and online where you live also. Also some have onboard sound built in, and use usb over jacks. Unless your have an aftermarket audio card, I would suggest one of these for the best bang for your buck when it comes to gaming sound quality and microphone quality. A good website to find a good price on a headset you want, or to browse headsets.
