Self damage on NQ3

Hello everybody. I was wondering if self damage for flamers on the nq servers can be set higher ? I dont know if its just NQ3 related,but if a flamer runs into a small room then he takes out all of the enemies,and the flamer himself hardly gets hurt,even when he walks straight into his own flames. The flamer hardly gets a blister from it ! Can the damage maybe set so he gets the same damage as the one he sets on fire,? Can it set  the same as when you stand to close at your own grenade or satchel..those kill you if you stand to close! Maybe its not possible or people dont agree with it,but i was just wondering.

Actually, the only way player, who uses flamethrower, can hurt himself is only if he fires downwards. In any other situation he won't be damaged at all. And, to be honest, I don't find it too bad, since usage of flamethrower is quite restricted because of its quite short range of shot and quite small given damage.

Im talking about a flamer in a small area (room/narrow hallway for example) so flame range is more then enough in these situation. The damage it does is high enough to take out a full health medic in about 3 seconds and if the med survives, then theres still the "after" burn that can kill him easily!  And for the long range they switch to mp40/thompson. Thats what i mean.Im not talking about a flamer that tries to kill an enemie from the other side of a map,but in small areas where distance isnt an issue.

I mentioned distance since not every player can switch to smg weapon, because not every player has enough hw level.

Well, actually I'm just one of those who find that everything is all right with flamethrower user's self damage.
