I have been watching matches on Jay 1 and I have been noticed that Allies have a huge advantage points in terms of strategic position and overall design of the map.

I have rarely seen axis get past the "get the gun parts and arm the gun" because it's really unbalanced and axis depend on luck instead of actual skill.


So yeah, I just want to hear your opinion about this map and depending on your opinions , I will take the next move.

What would you do to make the map more balanced? or is it ok that way?

The only problem are the spawn times as is the problem with any map with axis on the offense.  The defensive spawn time should always be no less than 1/3rd longer than the offense.  This is especially noticeable when the first objective is to battle through choke points while trying to plant dyno and defend it for 30 seconds against a constant barrage of freshly spawned enemy.

i noticed this when the map was first added, but lately axis has been able to get to the end more often as people get used to it. I've even seen axis win a few times. :)

 

i disliked the map at first, but once i saw it get played through to the end a few times i've really started to enjoy the challenge now that i sort of know what to do. once axis gets into the room with the bomb it is such an awesome fragfest. XD

 

axis teamwork and communication are a must for flameguards, it's good to have a leader around when playing this map to try and coordinate the offense.

Defense has a distinict advantage; if one has access to win/loss data statistis, I believe it would bear that claim out. Tweaking it to equalize for offense would be good. IMHO
