!Something' Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 I had a CFG but i lost it once i reinstalled and downloaded ET, I did that because everything was all f'ed up and all the options became weird and not right. I wanted to make my resolution better (my laptop has 1600x900) and i cant select that in the settings in ET. i tried some commands people told me... didn't work So i decided to change my cfg and after that everything went crazy lol. no detail, etc etc After i reinstalled the game, it starts as 800x600 ... usually it automaticly makes it ''fullscreen'' but mine just uses the center of my screen. and i have to change it everytime i start the game. i know i need to fill in this list: CPU: Model + speed of the cpu --> (*) RAM: How much memory on your PC or Laptop --> (*) Graphic Card: Model --> (*) Monitor: Size of your screen + Resolution + Refresh Rate Internet connexion and speed: xdsl or cable or modem --> (*) Game graphics: High or ugly (you want to see all graphic details in the game Or you don't care cos you looking only for better performance.) What resolution you play with: Not your Monitor resolution but game resolution) --> (*) What Sensitivity: you want for your mouse between 0.1 to 30 (default is 5) --> (*) What Crosshair: see the picture below --> (*) What FOV you want: see the picture below --> (*) and if you want some specific binds please tell us what and with what key you want? but idk the CPU , RAM and graphic card :S and idk how and where to find it xD if anyone wants to help me a little.. i would appriciate haha Thanks guys!! Oh and after the reinstall the game is really laggy? (used to have around 100-140 ping, now its around 200 ) ... i like to play without lag xD Quote
razer Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 (edited) i have same problem with ping, 150-170 normally few month ago and now 200-240 and here is the settings for custom resolution ( for your laptop) r_customheight 900 r_customwidth 1600 r_mode -1 Edited December 12, 2013 by razer Quote
hobbit Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 (edited) To figure out what your CPU, RAM, and GPU are just run dxdiag from the search bar on your pc. First tab should show you ram and cpu and clicking on display should show you the gpu As for ping, it usually does not have much to do with the cfg but your modem/router/ISP Edited December 12, 2013 by underachiever Quote
