Xfire freeze/crash when detecting installed games.

I had the same issue with Xfire 2.0. Especially when I tried the Beta, it would freeze every 15 seconds and stay frozen for about 10. I redownloaded the old version of Xfire and I'm happy with that. Much better IMO.
