You can pm people by typing /m "name" <message> in console. Partial match works too and if it matches for more than 1 player they all get the message. So if you type "/m =F|A= hello" everyone who has =F|A= in his name will get a message. Console can be opened with ^ Else you can just global chat by pressing T or teamchat with Z.

one more advice try playing late when bots join in that's what most noobs do including me

Yep, that's me when I tried playing the game for a few weeks. It was just run, spam, die, rinse and repeat.
